The first of its kind from a stock-horse association, the American Paint Horse Association recently debut a new online system that allows transfers of ownership for registered Paint Horses. This easy-to-use system allows members to complete their transfers of ownership faster than ever before, and puts the power right at their digital fingertips.

The horsemen and -women on this list are competitors who have proven their skills in the show pen and are considered highly accomplished competitors by AQHA and its alliance partners. This list is compiled by factoring in AQHA points, championship titles and alliance money earned outside of AQHA competition. At the direction of AQHA’s leveling task force, more detailed information has been provided to the list regarding specific earnings restrictions from each alliance partner.

The qualifying period began June 1, 2018, and ends May 31, 2019. The tentative dates for the 2019 Adequan® Select World are August 21-31 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

– Patterns are posted! Check here for the patterns before you head to OKC. Working orders are already posted. There are no prelims for jumping and tie-down roping. These are finals-only classes.

SHW320.7: For shows conducted in international countries, the exhibitor has the option of wearing traditional attire of the country. Traditional attire shall not encompass informal attire such as baseball caps and T-shirts, but rather the industry standard for historical dress for the local or regional agricultural industry. This rule shall not supersede the requirement for ASTM/SEI headgear in over fences classes as outlined in SHW320.2.

The 2018 Paint Horse Congress is fast approaching. The show will take place August 1st-5th at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

A highlight of the event will be the chance to ride an American Quarter Horse. This event has given more than 1,400 children in the past eight years the opportunity to experience their first ride on an American Quarter Horse.
