The Top 4 all remain the same this week as Auburn comes in at No. 1, Texas A&M at No. 2, SMU at No. 3 and Baylor at No. 4.

Taught by APHA Judge Sandy Jirkovsky, one of the equine community’s top professionals, this seminar is a great opportunity for all APHA international judge applicants and carded judges wishing to renew their credentials—attending a seminar like this one is required for those individuals. On the third day, APHA judge applicants may take the rule book test, video tests and interview—all required steps in the approval process.

As Congress returns for a final “lame duck” session following the November 6 election, lawmakers have an opportunity to pass widely supported, bipartisan legislation that promotes access to public lands for equine enthusiasts. The horse industry seeks to push two major trails bills across the finish line:

Nearly 4,500 entries from the United States, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are competing for 99 world championships and 90 Adequan® Level 2 Championships champion titles, with more than $2.4 million in prize money up for grabs at this year’s event, November 1-17.

In a sea of solid coats, Paints are standing out and cashing in, earning big wins at the 2018 All American Quarter Horse Congress. The show’s futurity and sweepstakes classes are open to select additional breeds including Paint Horses.

Big money was all the buzz at the 2018 APHA World Championship Show, especially in the highly anticipated Breeders’ Trust Pleasure Stakes, which paid out its highest-ever purse—$78,360—across four classes and two limited divisions.
