
Modify SHW240.4 the term of the lease must be for a minimum one year period, and the lease must be to an individual only. If the lease is terminated for any reason other than the death of the lessee before the minimum one year period, the following penalties/restrictions shall apply except as provided by the International Lease for World Championship Show rules: SHW240.4.1 unless the lessor pays a $1,000 early termination penalty (“Termination Penalty”), the horse can only be shown in the Open Division, Level 1 classes and/or Rookie classes until one year has passed since the original start date of the lease;

Modifications to registration-related items were approved by AQHA members and the AQHA Board of Directors at the 2019 AQHA Convention, March 8-11 in Fort Worth, Texas. Per the Association’s bylaws, the board of directors has the final authority when it comes to AQHA’s bylaws and rules of registration. Rule-change recommendations from all of the other standing committees were reviewed and approved by the board of directors. Those recommendations go to the AQHA Executive Committee for review, modification and/or approval at its April meeting.

Bob Kail, has been a judge for 36 years. Kail holds cards for the AQHA, NRHA, NSBA, NRCHA and WCHA. He has judged many of the most prestigious shows, such as the Open and Amateur World shows, The Youth World, NRHA Futurity, NRHA Derby, NSBA World, The Reichert Celebration, The Tom Powers Futurity, The Little Futurity and the Iowa Breeders Halter Futurity. He has judged in Canada, Australia, Mexico and throughout South America.
