Dr. Rick Rigsby presented “Making an Impact” before a packed house. It was funny and motivating for everyone, but, at the same time, sent a serious message for all of us. “Don’t make an impression; make an impact.”

“Yes, looking back I should have decided to pay student loans and made more logical decisions. However, a dream long forgotten sometimes supersedes logic…I drained my bank accounts. When I looked in the mirror, I saw a crazy person who thought that dreams paid bills.”

This event started as a regular Novice Amateur Showmanship class and was elevated to a whole new level when an escapee steer from the Equidome found his way into The Equine Chronicle arena right in the middle of Glenda’s set-up and quartering for the judges!
