National Snaffle Bit Association is proud to announce the success of the 2025 Back To Berrien Auction, which raised more than $50,000 to benefit the NSBA Crisis Fund. Held during the Back To Berrien Futurity in Berrien Springs, Michigan, the annual auction drew a packed crowd and overwhelming support from the equine community.

The Back To Berrien Auction featured a variety of high-quality items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, ranging from iconic historical trophies, a NSBA work saddle donated by Harris Leather & Silverworks, directors chairs customized by Wallace and Sissy Anderson and original paintings donated by Jason Ducharme.

All proceeds from the auction go directly to the NSBA Crisis Fund, which provides financial assistance to NSBA professional trainers and their families facing unexpected tragedy, serious injury or personal crisis. The fund helps cover urgent needs such as medical expenses, travel, loss of income or funeral costs.

“This event truly showcased the compassion and generosity of our industry,” said Stephanie Lynn, NSBA Executive Director. “We’ve seen time and time again the pivotal impact the Crisis Fund can make in the lives of our members and every bidder, donor and volunteer played a role in providing a lifeline to those who may one day need it most. The NSBA Crisis Fund exists so that no trainer or family has to face hardship alone, and the success of this auction ensures that support continues.”

The NSBA Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you to the Back To Berrien show committee, auction donors and the many bidders who made this year’s auction a success!
