APHA is excited to announce plans to offer the inaugural Paint Alternative Competition World Championship E-Show in early September 2020, taking place just before the APHA World Championship Show. Entries will open August 22 and close on September 7 at 5 p.m. CST.

The National Day of the Cowboy is celebrated around the country, including Amarillo. This year, due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic and to protect the health and welfare of visitors and staff, the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo will be hosting the 10th annual event as a virtual celebration, brought to you by presenting sponsor Amarillo National Bank.

“We are honored to be able to offer scholarships for the upcoming school year. In 2019, the WCHA Foundation awarded nine scholarships to deserving youth with an interest in conformation horses,” explains Don Falcon, Executive Director of WCHA.

“In the coming year, there is a lot to be done while preserving the traditions that make us who we are as an organization and a breed,” said Wise. “As AQHA members, your love of the horse and love of the lifestyle can only be protected by your involvement at a local, state and national level. We need your experience, knowledge and passion to keep AQHA great.”
