Around the Rings with Judge Becky George — 2026 South Australian QH Championship State Show

The South Australian QH Championship State Show, hosted by Circle C Western Riding Club, took place Jan 22-25, 2026, at Auburn Caravan Park.
Judge Becky George from the United States joined Dressage Judge Graeme Rodda to officiate at a competition that was also a celebration of horsemen showing in a full slate of disciplines, from showmanship to dressage to ranch riding.
For Judge Becky George, the experience “down under” was unparalleled. “Getting the opportunity to judge and give clinics in other countries has been an incredible experience for me. Their excitement to learn and raise their standards is truly inspiring. It makes you never want to stop helping them. Seeing their growth – and the smiles on their faces when something finally clicks—is both fun and deeply rewarding.”
“This picture sums it up!” says Becky George. “When we judge there, we get to hand out the awards as well! I’m just standing there waiting on my winners!”
