The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum in Amarillo is excited to announce their grand reopening on August 17. The Hall of Fame & Museum is a great place for Panhandle natives and visitors to experience a piece of the West. It’s a place for horse lovers of all ages to learn more about the breed and a quiet sanctuary in which to appreciate some outstanding artwork.

“Our Museum is dedicated to educating and sharing our passion with visitors who travel near and far to view the beautiful Hall of Fame and learn about the legendary people and horses who shaped our breed,” said Chris Sitz, chief Foundation officer. “We are truly excited to welcome visitors back with new interactive exhibits and original works of art not to be missed.”

The Hall of Fame & Museum will open on August 17 and will feature two new exhibits including America’s Horse in Art, the Museum’s annual art show and sale and Bloodlines of the Breed, which beautifully captures the pivotal sires that created the American Quarter Horse we know today.
