Hands-On Clinics, Educational Seminars, and Promotion of AQHA Programs for Irish Horse Enthusiasts

The American Quarter Horse Association invites all horse owners, riders and equine enthusiasts to attend its Educational Outreach Tour across Ireland from May 29 through June 7. This initiative is designed to provide education, resources and meaningful networking opportunities for the international equine community.
AQHA Director of Competition Scott Neuman, AQHA Manager of International Joanne Canedo, and AQHA Professional Horsewoman Melissa Zanetti will be among those in attendance. Participants will have the opportunity to connect directly with AQHA representatives, ask questions, complete AQHA paperwork and take part in riding clinic opportunities. Horse owners of all breeds are welcome to attend this free event.
The AQHA Educational Outreach initiative is focused on strengthening international connections by providing accessible education, hands-on learning opportunities and direct support for horse owners and breeders. The program encourages engagement, skill development and community building within the global American Quarter Horse industry.

Cowboys & Heroes Country Americana Festival, Drumcoura Equestrian Centre

Attendees are encouraged to visit the AQHA booth during the festival to connect with staff, learn more about AQHA programs and complete horse-related paperwork. Event registration is not required. However, tickets must be purchased directly through Cowboys & Heroes.
Thursday, June 4 | 1-5:30 p.m.
AQHA Seminar & Member Services, Maldron Hotel Portlaoise
Abbeyleix Rd, Meelick, Portlaoise, Co. Laois
Join AQHA for an informative afternoon featuring tea and cookies and an introduction to AQHA programs and services. Staff will be available to assist with horse registrations, transfers and general AQHA inquiries. This session is free and open to the public.

Learn more about the American Quarter Horse and western riding and join a western riding presentation and Q&A with clinician Melissa Zanetti.
June 6-7
Western Riding Clinics, Fossey Mountain Springs Ranch
Fossey Mountain Springs Ranch, Timahoe, Co. Laois
Saturday, June 6: Western riding clinic sessions with Melissa Zanetti, offered in small groups of 5-7 riders per session. These sessions are free and open to the public; registration is required.
Sunday, June 7: Introductory group western riding session with Melissa Zanetti, a larger clinic open to all riding levels. The morning session will focus on general knowledge, while the afternoon session will be geared toward intermediate riders, building on the morning instruction. This session is free and open to the public. Registration is required, and participants are welcome to attend both sessions.
Lunch will be provided on both clinic days for registered participants. Observers are also welcome to watch, learn and engage with AQHA staff and fellow equine enthusiasts.
