Apply for the 2027 AQHA Judge Applicant School

The American Quarter Horse Association invites qualified individuals to apply for the 2027 AQHA Judge Applicant School, scheduled for May 17-19 in Denton, Texas.
The school is part of AQHA’s comprehensive process for evaluating individuals interested in becoming approved AQHA judges. Applicants are considered based on their experience, qualifications, knowledge of AQHA rules and ability to evaluate AQHA competition accurately and consistently.
Applicants must be at least 25 years old, hold an individual current-year AQHA membership and be members in good standing. Applicants must receive approval through AQHA’s judge-selection and committee-review process before being notified of their eligibility to attend. Following the evaluation process, applicants are subject to final review and approval by the AQHA Judges Committee and AQHA Executive Committee.
