EC Photo of the Day – Shoot for the Skye

You might remember the photo we posted earlier this month (on the left) in which Carly Veldman Parks got on Skye Miles to ride double with Jocelyn Grabow to help her troubleshoot transitions at the All American Quarter Horse Congress!

Their hard work must have paid off, because the second photo by Shane Rux Photography shows Skye Miles doing the barrels with Jocelyn to qualify to win the all around – and they did it!

 

“He didn’t have the fastest time, but he made a qualifying run! A few hours later after his barrel debut, he competed in the open HUS maturity, placing in the top 15! The following day he won the limited open HUS with Macie! This was Luca’s first time winning the congress, along with Jocelyn & Macie first!” say Josh and Jennifer Grabow.

Congratulations to the entire Grabow family, the Parks team, and to Jocelyn and Skye Miles on their All Around Youth 11 & Under title. “He’s truly and all around horse now,” says Jennifer.
