This Fall in Fort Worth: A Celebration of the Appaloosa Breed
The upcoming 2025 Appaloosa World Show promises to be one of the most memorable events yet, with several new and exciting activities in store for attendees. As Appaloosa enthusiasts from across the country and around the globe gather in Fort Worth this fall, they can look forward to memorable experience celebrating the beauty, versatility, and spirit of the Appaloosa breed.
Why You Can’t Miss This Year’s Show
This year’s show will feature a variety of fresh ideas balanced with key traditions and heritage. Over 10 days, owners, members, and exhibitors will demonstrate the unique qualities of Appaloosas vying for nearly $500,000 in prizes and money.
Some key features this year include:
- Exhibitor Welcome Social– Held Sunday, October 26th the ApHC invites exhibitors and owners to celebrate the 2025 World Show and visit with other participants
- Ride the Pattern– Led by expert trainers and industry leaders; you can gain insights into maneuvers and patterns that will be used at the show .
- Veterans Appreciation Social and Parade– As one of the main highlights of the World Show, plan on joining us Friday, October 31st in the John Justin Arena for the Veterans Parade followed by two special Veterans classes.
- Best of the West Vendor Village: Explore a revamped vendor area with a wider selection of vendors offering the latest in equestrian gear, apparel, and breed-related memorabilia.
- Stud Club Stations– Don’t miss the vibrant and informative stallion displays showcasing some of the top stallions in our industry!
- Cowtown Cutting – Three FULL days of NCHA and ApHC cutting will be held during the World Show.
- Cow Horse classes– Over $20,000 in added money and prizes will be handed out between the Junior and Senior Cow Horse events this year!
- Ranch classes– Riders from all divisions will be competing for more than $18,000 in buckles, prizes and added money.
- Reining classes– $10,000 will be awarded to the winner of the Buy, Breed & Win while an additional $15,000 in prizes and money will be awarded to other reining classes
- Halter classes– Over $50,000 in cash and prizes will be handed out to Halter Futurity Champions as well as awarding the Supreme Halter Champion
- Windemere Classic– Returning for 2025 is the $5,000 added to the Windemere Classic for the over fence enthusiasts
