Around the Rings – The 2025 Rose Futurity
Not long ago, Carolyn La Rose, Vice Chairman of North Florida Equestrian Society, pondered on the age old question: how do we bring new faces into the show world?
But instead of just talking about it, the lifetime horsewoman and current breed association trainer, breeder, and business owner decided to do something about it, beginning by hosting a futurity in conjunction with the Florida All Breed Show Series and the NSBA.
Hence, the popular Rose Futurity was born, and its mission is as follows:
We’re striving to bring new faces and muzzles into the breed show world. Through partnership with NSBA and the Florida All Breed Show Series, we’re creating this new futurity to invite current breed show competitors and new exhibitors to come step into the show ring of recognized shows. Elevate your competition and come compete for money, prizes and fun.
The Second Annual Rose Futurity, July 26-27, 2025, is under way now at Jacksonville Equestrian Center, Jacksonville, Florida, and Carolyn also donned the hat of PR photographer and sent us some photos to enjoy!
