Then, for the AEP (only) shows, we will keep your points, similar to a state year-end program. We will award, at the end of the show period, year-end high points in the following divisions: Open Jr, Open Sr, L1 Amateur, Amateur, Select, L1 Youth, 13 & under, 14-18 & Small Fry. (If a particular show has classes leveled, L2 & L3, both levels will count towards that division.) In the non-pro divisions, points will count as a horse/rider combination.

The State of Oklahoma is requiring horses living in areas with positive VS cases to have a health certificate within 5 days of when you are traveling. Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show exhibitors who are from an area that has a positive VS case are required to have a health certificate within 5 days of when you leave, instead of the 30 day requirement. There was no shortage of Appaloosa versatility exhibited as open and non-pros participated in over 160 classes during the first week in Fort Worth. The show kicked off with cattle events, and, over the course of the show, horses and exhibitors competed in everything from Ranch to Halter to Hunter Under Saddle classes, all vying for coveted National Championship titles.

APHA is accepting national director nominations from regional clubs and individuals through August 15—any APHA member in good standing can be nominated as a national director. If elected, national directors serve a three-year term (2020–2022) and are asked to vote on rule change proposals and other matters of importance to the association in the best interest of their representative area.
