According to local California station, Fox 26, a man driving a truck with a two-horse trailer was pulled over when a policeman noticed that he had a flat tire. According to the report, he failed field sobriety tests and had blood alcohol level that was twice the legal limit.

Jay Starnes rode Million to 1 to win Green Western Pleasure and $225. Becky George and HP Good Margarita won $280 in the 4-Year-Old and Over Novice Horse Trail. Stephanie Armellini and Rumors Inthe Dark won $320 in Green Trail.

The 2018 AQHA Central Level 1 Championships is April 10-14 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, the 2018 AQHA West Level 1 Championships returns April 18-22 to the South Point Equestrian & Events Center in Las Vegas and the 2018 Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships is May 2-6 at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio. Exhibitors can compete at only one Level 1 Championships each year.
