$120,000-added High Class Reining in Austria: 230 Horses and Top Riders from 10 Nations Expected

The countdown is running for the first $120,000-added High Class Reining, which is scheduled for July 22 until 26, 2015 at Weikersdorf, Austria. The event, which offers a total purse of $ 100,000-added in the High Class Reining maturity alone, has attracted considerable attention. At the deadline of July 1st, the show office had already received 200 entries from Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, France, Austria and Hungary. Many more kept coming in until the final deadline July 5th. The event is limited to 230 horses.

European Reining Elite in Weikersdorf

The list of the entries already resembles a Who’s Who of European Reining including Grischa Ludwig, Sylvia Rzepka, Giuseppe Prevosti, NRHA Million Dollar Riders Rudi Kronsteiner and Cody Sapergia with Jacpoint QH, Gennaro Lendi, Manuel Cortesi, Mirko Piazzi, Quentin Galliere, Klaus Lechner, Markus Morawitz, 23 Quarter Horses, Eifel Gold Ranch, CS Ranch, Ewald Rifeser, Johannes Hasenauer, KL Performance, Volker Schmitt and  Adrian Motyka (Roleski).

Top conditions for Reiners

Participants can look forward to an excellent reining facility. The indoor arena just received a new ground and was generally optimized – as were the warm up areas. Washing places were established and the Riders Lounge Terrace was renovated with a completely new look. In the restaurant tent, there is a video wall with live video transfer from the show arena, so riders and guests won’t miss anything. A 24 hour Shuttle Service to the parking space was established as well.

It’s Party Time

On Tuesday, July 21st, all participants and sponsors are invited to the Welcome Party with free Buffet, Austrian music, and ‘trach.’ On Friday, July 24th, there will be live music with the “Country Rebels” and on Saturday, July 25, the big Closing Party will follow with DJ and Coyote Ugly Girls. Also, there is ample opportunity for shopping, as renowned exhibitors announced their coming like Gomeier’s World of Saddles, Lope In, Tom Winter, Bits & Spurs by Donut, Horseman’s Paradise and CR Saddles (California Ranch).

The High Class Reining includes three events: the $ 100,000 + 50% added money High Class Reining Maturity for 5-8-year-old horses, the $10,000 + 50% added money High Class Reining Stakes for 4-year-old horses, and a $ 10,000+ 50% added money NRHA Ancillary Show. The event is NRHA approved, part of the ARHA Circuit, and also a qualifier for the 2016 NRHA European Affiliate Championships. The show is judged by Filippo Masi/ITA, Jan Boogaerts/BEL, Maik Bartmann/GER, Sylvia Katschker/AUT, Eugenio Latorre/ITA and Klaus Fock/AUT.
