Tulsa, Okla., November 1-9, 2014 – Join the Pinto Horse Association of America as the Color Breed Congress kicks off on November 4, held in conjunction with the Western Dressage Association of America World Show on Nov. 1-2. The events will take place at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at the Expo Square, in Tulsa.

The Color Breed Congress encompasses four breed shows into one. Participating breeds include: the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America, American Buckskin Registry Association and Appaloosa Horse Club. In addition to the four breeds represented at the show, horses from the following breeds or divisions can compete: Solid Palomino Bred, Solid-Paint Bred, Buckskins and Solid Pintos.

National Snaffle Bit Association dual approved classes are offered in the Pinto, Palomino, ABRA and Appaloosa breed shows. These classes provide an opportunity to gain points within both associations.

In addition, exhibitors from each breed can have the opportunity to compete for the Champion of Champion classes. This competition is designed for certain amateur, youth and open classes to compete against each other and vie for the true color champion in their respective category.

“The Champion of Champion classes are exciting to watch,” said Darrell Bilke, PtHA Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “What an amazing competition to see various breeds at one show.”

The CBC has an open door policy when it comes to spectators. The show is free to attend and promises a fun-filled time for everyone who comes.

Make sure to stop by at the CBC Market Place. This year, over 30 vendors from across the country will be displaying their products. This is a great opportunity for buying congratulatory or Christmas gifts!

“The Color Breed Congress has something for everyone,” Bilke said. “We hope to see everyone in Tulsa.”
