Tom Robertson and Ecredible Win 3-Year-Old Stallions For Steve and Kelli Jensen

Tom Robertson was at the lead of Ecredible today to take the win in 3-Year-Old Stallions at the 2013 AQHA World Show for Steve and Kelli Jensen. “Eli” is a sorrel stallion by Mr. Elusive and out of Lindys Little Secret. A truly home-grown colt, the Jensen family bred and raised Eli as well as his mother. Tom Robertson has been in charge of the care and fitting of the horse since the very beginning and describes the colt as a “trainer’s dream.”

“He’s a gem of a horse,” Jensen says. “He’s been good from day one. He was Reserve here as a baby and won the Congress. He’s been a wonderful horse to be around. He’s never let us down. I had him since he was a baby.”

Last week, Madison Jensen showed Eli to a Reserve World Championship finish in the Amateur Three-Year-Old Stallions. She was just one of Robertson’s clients to win a trophy during amateur week.

“My amateurs won five trophies, and now I’ve got one in the open,” he says. “We have one more left, the 3-year-old mare that won the amateur [Get Your Flirt On with Joni Roth].”

Looking forwards to 2014, Robertson is eager to see what will come out of Ecredible’s first foal crop.

“He’s got babies coming in the spring,” he says. “I think Steve’s got eight or nine mares in foal to him. [I hope they have] his attitude. You can’t imagine how wonderful this horse is, for a stallion, to be around. He’s so easygoing. He works hard. He really and truly is a trainer’s delight. He makes me look good. He really does.”
