FORT WORTH – Six home dates and a return to the Stock Show highlight TCU equestrian’s 2022-23 schedule, which TCU director of equestrian Haley Schoolfield announced today. The Horned Frogs will compete in a total of 15 regular-season events, including a home exhibition contest and six meets against Big 12 Conference teams.

“We are a team with high goals heading into the upcoming season and we look forward to the 2022-23 schedule,” Schoolfield said. “We enjoy getting to compete at home and look forward to hosting a total of eight home events next year. There are a lot of talented teams on the schedule and I believe our student-athletes will be ready to take those challenges head on.”

The Frogs will open the 2022-23 campaign hosting Tarleton in an exhibition competition on Sept. 16. That following week, TCU will open the regular-season with a road test at Texas A&M on Sept. 23. TCU will continue action on the road for its next three events, with a contest at Delaware State on Oct. 6, and then taking on UT-Martin in a neutral-site meet in Dover, Del., on Oct. 7. The Frogs wrap-up its four-meet road trip with a short drive down I-35 to take on Baylor on Oct. 21.

TCU will close out the Fall portion of the schedule with three home dates, hosting Oklahoma State in its home-opener on Oct. 28 and then following with back-to-back home dates against Fresno State (Nov. 3) and UC Davis (Nov. 11).

The Frogs will open the Spring schedule with a return trip to the Fort Worth Stock Show to host South Dakota State on Jan. 26. TCU kicks off a five-meet month of February with a home date against Auburn on Feb. 3. Back-to-back road meets against Fresno State (Feb. 10) and UC Davis (Feb. 11) will proceed a home contest against Texas A&M, which the Frogs will host on Feb. 18. TCU closes out the month with a road date at Oklahoma State (Feb. 25).

TCU’s regular-season finale and Senior Day will be on March 4 when the Frogs host Baylor.

The Big 12 Championship is set for March 24-25, while the NCEA National Championship is slated for April 13-15.
