More than 3,400 entries from the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Mexico and the United Kingdom are competing for 98 world championships at this year’s event.

“People have all these scary stories about it, but he’s been so good for me that I haven’t gotten worried,” she says.

This is the second World title of the day for Wildes and Hobo who won Amateur Hunter Hack earlier this morning. The pair also has World and Reserve World Championship titles in classes like Equitation Over Fences, Western Riding, and Hunter Hack.

This afternoon’s Amateur 3-Year-Old Stallions class at the 2013 APHA World Show marked an important milestone for Mark and Patty Voegele and trainer Kelley Stone. Voegele’s home-grown stallion, Intensions, broke the APHA record for the most consecutive wins by a halter horse stallion.

“This is the first time I’ve ever shown him,” she says. “I’ve worked with him for about four days.”

Later on today, Robinett will show her 2-year-old gelding, Built Execute Tuff, and her 2-year-old stallion, Well Executed. Both of the horses, one out of Phenomenal Ms and one out of Pizzazzy Lady, are double-papered as well.
