Also taking place January 24–26 is the annual Color Breed Council Judges Academy, held at the Doubletree Hotel at Warren Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Billy Smith and APHA Director of Judges David Dellin will be among the attendees of this annual seminar, designed to educate judges who officiate APHA, ApHC, PtHA, PHBA, NSBA, AMHA, IBHA and POAC competitions.

Last year, Friday finished fourth at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in AQHA Novice Youth Hunter Saddle (14-18). In 2012, she was the Reserve World Champion in Showmanship (14-18). In 2011, Friday was the American Paint Horse Association World Champion in Novice Hunter Hack, while winning the Reserve World Championship in Novice Working Hunter.
