Today’s EC Photo of the Day comes from a private island in the Caribbean where a group of horse show families are taking a much-needed break this summer. The Johns, Searles, and MacLeod families brought along their favorite equine magazine to read on the trip!

As many of you plan family barbecues, trips to the lake, or even attend Memorial Day horse shows, we encourage everyone to remember the real reason for this holiday weekend. While we may sometimes lose sight of the true meaning of the red, white, and blue, it’s important to take a moment, on Memorial Day, to recognize, remember, and celebrate our nation’s heroes who died in service to our country.
