New NSBA Foundation Board Of Directors and Officers Announced

New NSBA Foundation Board of Directors and Officers were elected during the October 17, 2014 Board Of Directors meeting held at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. The meeting was held with board members participating both through attendance and conference phone.

The NSBA Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports the Animal Welfare Fund, which promotes humane treatment of horses; the Trainers Crisis Fund, that provides financial assistance to NSBA trainers who experience hardship or disaster of a severe and unexpected nature; Youth Scholarship program; the Clothes Closet/Tack Room, that provides gently used show clothing and tack for riders with disabilities; the Support An Equestrian program; and Heroes On Horses program for disabled veterans who partner with horses in the healing process.

Operating under a separate board of directors, the NSBA Foundation seeks to support not only members of the National Snaffle Bit Association, but the equine community as a whole. Donations of any size can be made by Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover or PayPal at www.nsbafoundation.org.
