It’s a race to the finish in the Midwest Horse Fair Youth Team Challenge! Returning for a second year with more than $1,000 in prizes, the competition will keep you on the edge of your seat with a few new twists! Proudly sponsored by Hay Chix, this fun challenge will have riders working as a team to crawl, tear and hold on for dear life as they race their way to the final round! The deadline to apply is February 15, 2017 or until full.
Round ’em Up
Competitors, get your ranch horse out of the barn and ready for the show ring! The Midwest Horse Fair Ranch Horse Competition makes it’s debut with more than $2,800 in prizes. It will showcase the control and maneuverability of the ranch horse and offer three classes. Sponsored by Mattress Firm, this competition is sure to challenge your inner cowboy/cowgirl!

New in 2017! Introducing Midwest Horse Fair Grand March! This glamorous new event is a snapshot of the entire Midwest Horse Fair packed into 60 fun-filled minutes. Midwest Horse Fair Grand March is an hour of entertainment, music and horses, horses, horses! Heroic horses, majestic performers and brave bull riders will be ready to showcase their amazing skills during the PRCA Rodeo and Epic Night of the Horse™ at the 2017 Midwest Horse Fair! The PRCA Rodeo will be on Friday night and is sponsored by Nutrena. Saturday night will feature Epic Night of the Horse™, which is sponsored by Blain’s Farm & Fleet. Tickets will be available for these two spectacular evening shows through Ticketmaster starting January 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.!

The Midwest Horse Fair Star Search will create quite the buzz at the 2017 fair! Which five finalists from each division will enter the show ring and dazzle the audience? Find out soon, as the 4 finalists and 3 online fan favorite voting entries from each division will be announced December 21! Join in the fun and participate in the online fan favorite voting contest January 16-25, 2017. The winner of this contest will become the 5th finalist in each division and earn a chance at super-stardom!
