In early March, a large snow slide caused a portion of the southeast corner of the Cattle Barn roof to collapse at the MN State Fairgrounds. After inspection, it was determined that the building needed to be closed for the repairs, which will not be complete in time for the Corporate Challenge. Our show has used that area to host a large indoor arena for the past few years. Due to the unexpected force of Mother Nature, we will not be able to hold a riding arena in the Cattle Barn. We understand how imperative it is to have adequate time and space to ride your horses throughout the show. In order to accommodate this inconvenience, we will be keeping the Coliseum open 24 hours a day throughout the show. You will also find 4 other riding arenas besides the Coliseum to ride your horses: Compeer arena (formerly known as Ag Star), coverall pen, outdoor arena, and the breeze way under the tunnel into the Coliseum. We will be inspecting each riding area prior to the show to make sure there is sufficient footing to keep your horses safe and comfortable. The cattle show that is normally held the weekend before Corporate Challenge will no longer be happening. So you can expect less flies!
The MAQHA Corporate Challenge will take place July 10-14 in St. Paul, MN. For more information about the show, visit AnEquineProduction.com.
