Hello, my name is Renee Conklin. I will be blogging from the APHA Zone 2 Paint-O-Rama in South Jordan, Utah. I will be showing Total Assets, aka “Cowboy,” in the Novice Youth All-Around events with Gibbs Show Horses.
I’m 15 years old, and I’m an incoming sophomore in high school. Cowboy is 18 years old, and this is our first year together. We have been going to several shows this year to help us prepare for the Zone 2 Paint-O-Rama. This is my second year with Gibbs Show Horses.
During this weekend, some of our others horses showing are… Angela Finegan with Sittin On Certain and Good For Certain in Amateur Western events, Alan Watkins with Izzylicious, and Taylor Meckley with Sleepin It Off.
This is my first time at this show, so I’m excited for the great futurity classes they will be holding, as well with the amazing fundraisers. I can’t wait to keep you guys updated throughout the show!
