The American Quarter Horse Association has released the list of open and amateur exhibitors who are ineligible to show horses in the Adequan® Level 2 Championship classes at the 2021 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show, tentatively scheduled for October 28 – November 20 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. Entries for the event open online in mid-August and will close September 15 with additional late entry options also available.

The horsemen and horsewomen on this list are competitors who have proven their skills in the show arena and are considered highly accomplished competitors by AQHA and its alliance partners. This list is compiled by factoring in AQHA points, championship titles and alliance money earned outside of AQHA competition. At the direction of AQHA’s leveling task force, more detailed information has been provided within the list regarding specific earnings restrictions from each alliance partner.

“Like many of our alliance partners, we understand that the concept of leveling helps create a fair playing field for exhibitors to compete against others of similar experience,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “By combining alliance partner and AQHA data to group exhibitors, we can better protect the integrity and intent of the Adequan® Level 2 Championships at the Farnam AQHA World.”

AQHA alliance partners factored in the ineligible riders list include:

  • National Snaffle Bit Association
  • National Reining Horse Association
  • National Reined Cow Horse Association
  • National Cutting Horse Association
  • Ranch Sorting National Championships
  • United States Team Penning Association
  • Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association
  • Women’s Professional Rodeo Association
