FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

OQHA Welcomes Justin Billings

The Ohio Quarter Horse Association and the All American Quarter Horse Congress is pleased to announce Justin Billings as Executive Vice President of Operations, effective January 1, 2023.

Billings was most recently employed by the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) as Chief Show Officer where he was responsible for the overall direction of the show department which oversees the activities of more than 2,200 AQHA sanctioned shows and AQHA’s five championship events.

An Ohio native, Billings has been involved in the Ohio Quarter Horse Association since his youth and he currently owns Billings Quarter Horses with his family in Ashville, Ohio.

“Justin’s lifelong involvement with the Ohio Quarter Horse Association and his extensive horse show management experience with AQHA make him the ideal candidate to join the Ohio Quarter Horse team and contribute in producing the All American Quarter Horse Congress,” states CEO Dr. Scott Myers.

The All American Quarter Horse Congress is the world’s largest single-breed horse show, with over 29,000 entries in 2022. Held annually at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, the show attracts more than 650,000 people, and generates over $409 million for the central Ohio economy. The All American Quarter Horse Congress is hosted by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association, an affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association.
