Important Update to Breeders Halter Futurity in 2022

Breeders Halter Futurity

Due to the recent sale of some Fossil Gate Farms stallions, we would like to clarify the Breeders Halter Futurity eligibility of foals sired by these stallions.

VERY COOL

For any mare owner who purchased a 2022 breeding, or has a rebreed from 2021 from Fossil Gate Farms to Very Cool, your 2023 weanling foal will be eligible for 2023 BHF Amateur and Open Weanling Classes.

All other mare owners who purchased, or will purchase a 2022 breeding to Very Cool, your 2023 weanling foals will be eligible for 2023 BHF Open Weanling Classes.

FG BORN LEGACY

Any mare owner who purchased a 2022 breeding, or has a rebreed from 2021 from Fossil Gate Farms to FG Born Legacy, your 2023 weanling foals will be eligible for 2023 BHF Amateur and Open Weanling Classes and BHF Color Division Amateur and Open Weanling Classes.

All other mare owners who purchased, or will purchase a 2022 breeding to FG Born Legacy, your 2023 weanling foals will be eligible for 2023 BHF Open Weanling Classes and the Color Division Amateur and Open Weanling Classes.

SUCHAN EGO

Any mare owners who purchased, or will purchase a 2022 breeding, or has a rebreed from 2021 to Suchan Ego, your 2023 weanling foals will be eligible for 2023 BHF Color Division Amateur and Open Weanling Classes.

Effective February 21, 2022, Fossil Gate Farms has updated their BHF Eligibility for two stallions:

FG MR MCDREAMY

For all mares bred to FG Mr McDreamy on February 21, 2022 or later, their 2023 weanling foals will be eligible for the 2023 BHF Amateur and Open Classes.

GRAND SLAM TOUCHDOWN

For all mares bred to Grand Slam Touchdown on February 21, 2022 or later, their 2023 weanling foals will be eligible for the 2023 BHF Amateur and Open Classes.
