The Equine Law Committee of The Animal Law Section of The Florida Bar presents Shining Light on Horse Sales in the Sunshine State – Understanding Florida Administrative Code 5H-26.

The course will focus on the history of equine law in Florida along with the development of Florida Administrative Code 5H that requires horse sellers in Florida to utilize a bill of sale with specific disclosures. The Equine Committee of the Animal Law Section of The Florida Bar is working to develop a standardized form that can adopted by horse owners, so they remain compliant with Florida law.
Kimbrell is an attorney with Williams Parker Attorneys at Law. She is an active equestrian who plays polo and competes in AQHA all-around events. Kimbrell’s extensive experience in the equestrian industry allows her to help clients with equine-related legal issues including contracts, waivers, and purchase, breeding, and lease agreements.
