Jason Smith with Big N Handsome

“He’s big and handsome, just like his name,” Joy says. “He’s also good to show. I showed him in the Non Pro and was second. We switched it up. Thomas [Coon] was first and I was second, and today, it was the opposite. At the Breeders Halter Futurity, he was third.”

“He’s very correct and big, and I love big, pretty geldings. I think that’s one of the things that really stands out about him.”

Coming up next, Big will head to the AQHA World Show to compete in Amateur with Joy and Open with Jason. After his trip to Fort Worth, Big will be a headed home with approximately $5,000 in winnings.

Buddy Laney with FG Centerfold

Finally, the judges crowned the WCHA Champion of Champions Weanling. Their choice was senior weanling filly, FG Centerfold, led by Buddy Laney. This filly is by Very Cool and out of Miss Kittee.
