Equine Chronicle Youth Aged AjPHA Halter Winners Are Presley Parker/FF Infallible and Renee Conklin/Mr. Swartznager

Here, at the 2014 AjPHA Youth World Show, we saved the best for last with the two largest halter classes of the day. Both the Youth Aged Mares, with ten entries, and the Youth Aged Geldings, with 20 entries, were sponsored by The Equine Chronicle. Joining the Friends of the Halter Industry scholarship presenters in the ring was our very own Gordon Downey.

Claiming the top spot in a tough class of Youth Aged Mares was Presley Parker with FF Infallible. We saw this team back in 2012 when then 7-year-old Parker and FF Infallible were the unanimous choice of the judges in Youth 3-Year-Old Mares. Last year, they were named the Champions in Youth Aged Mares with four firsts and a fourth place finish. This year, Parker defended her title and was named the unanimous World Champion in the class, making her devoted daddy and horse trainer, Olin Parker, very proud.

Coming in Reserve was Shelby Wilson with FF Shez Irresistable. Third place was the adorable Bo Yount with Frosted Perfection. Fourth place was Nathan Wright with Be Envyd. Rounding out the top five was Cassie Mitchell with Madame Fella.

Renee Conklin and Mr. Swartznager bested a field of 19 other entries to be named the World Champions in Youth Aged Geldings. Mr. Swartznager is a 2010 roan gelding by Artistic Imprint and out of Just For Sippin. It just so happens that this team is also trained by Olin Parker.

The Reserve Champion in the class was Lauren Gralla with The Only Alibi. Third place was Harli Hunt with Heza Lees Delight. Fourth place was Katie Leonarski with He Scores. Rounding out the top five was Alexus Cole with Artistic Reflection.
