Troy Oakley’s blockbuster mentoring program has taken off since he announced it in the fall of 2023, explaining that he’s going to be Changing Lives, One Rider At a Time.

“I’m not here to take anyone’s clients; I want to enhance your abilities and change lives one at a time,” he explains. “My mentor paved the way for me by teaching his riders. When you have a world of knowledge and you’re willing to share, you have a responsibility and a mission to spread the word to change people’s lives.”

Troy just completed a mentoring session with Trainer Barbara Fletcher and her clients in California this January.

Join Troy for a rare opportunity to improve your horsemanship, western riding, and equitation skills at Almosta Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona, January 31 – February 2, 2024, in Scottsdale!

Three one-day opportunities are available, or riders can participate in all three days:  Wednesday, Jan 31st for trainers/assistants, Thursday, February 1st for novice riders, and Friday evening, February 2nd for experienced riders.

“It’s $400 per horse/rider combo. You can ride all three days or whatever works for your schedule. The $400 allows you to ride each day if you want. Even though we’re trying to split up the days by skill level, if you want to ride multiple days, you can,” explains Trainer Erica Owen, the organizer for the event.

“The day of February 2nd will be in the evening to accommodate those that work since it’s during the week. To audit, it’s $100/day.”

Stalls are available for $35/day.

The idea of foundation is why Troy welcomes beginner to advanced riders, from non pros to trainers and their assistants–all are welcome, he says. “I know from running a training business that people come from all walks of life to do this, and they all have different skill levels.”

“I want to work on elements: lead changes, the stop, the turnaround, etc. I’m willing to work on their horsemanship, western riding, hunter under saddle, equitation, and western pleasure skills,” he says.
