Just like Breda, Noreen was a passionate horse lover and a World Champion exhibitor and owner. She thoroughly enjoyed the last years of her life on a horse farm in Ocala, Florida and making frequent trips to Sanibel Island to collect seashells. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Noreen’s name to the Humane Society of Marion County, Florida.

The Brunners were instrumental in developing the Wisconsin Paint Horse Club and supported the developing Paint Horse market throughout the Midwest for more than 50 years. Ralph and Barbara were inducted into the inaugural APHA Hall of Fame class in 2012.
