Of 20 entries, the judges, Holly Hover, Sara Simons, Garth Gooding, and Jon Barry, determined the winner to be Rusty Green with The Beat Gos On, winning $15,000 for Natasha Blanchard. The Reserve Champion was Randy Wilson with Battmans Vital Gal, winning $7,500 for Ron Shelly. Third was Jason English with Sure Am Southern, winning $5,000 for Marilyn White.

Today’s main event at the SOQHA Madness was The Equine Chronicle Novice Horse Western Pleasure that awarded a whopping $15,000 check to the champion. 14 entries were shown and the judges- Jon Barry, Garth Gooding, Sara Simons, and Rhonda Replogle- determined that Katy Jo Zuidema with Knockin It Out should be crowned the winners. Katy Jo was in the saddle today for owner, Kathryn Frederick.

It’s probably one of the most anticipated equestrian facility openings, not only in Florida, but across the nation. Promises of equine and human accommodations, the likes of which haven’t been seen before, have tantalized exhibitors and vendors alike since the project was first announced in 2017. The World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio has played host to many prestigious equestrian events and, starting in 2021, its southern twin, the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida, will carry on as one of the premier show facilities in the country, if not the world.

Unless the cause of the inflammation is removed and treatment begins immediately at the first signs of laminitis, the dermal laminae will begin to die. Since they are responsible for significant support in the hoof, which bears the horse’s weight, the coffin bone may begin to sink and rotate due to the inability of the damaged laminae to support both the bone and the pull of the digital flexor tendon.

In a 30-entry L1 Amateur Horsemanship class, Tammy Gagliardo rode Cool Lookin Ladysman to be named the winner. In a 45-entry L3 Amateur Horsemanship class, Michelle Forness rode Stretch Machine to a win. The L3 Select Horsemanship winner was Anne Wilson with Give Me The Goods. The L3 14-18 Horsemanship winner was Olivia Tordoff with Lookin Lazy. The L1 Youth Horsemanship winner was Wyatt Humbert with UF My Legs R Leathal.

Lana Markway and CR Walk The Line and Megan Seehafer with All That I Got split the judges’ decision in Amateur Showmanship All Ages. Nanci Ryan with TooBusy Bein Fabulous and Denise Sommerlot with LF Black Gold were the judges’ top two in Masters Showmanship.
