Lock in Low Rates by Submitting 2016 APHA Stallion Breeding Report Online

Lock in the lowest rates for your 2016 stallion breeding report by submitting it via aphaonline.org or postal mail by November 30. Mail must be postmarked by the November 30 deadline. A stallion breeding report must be filed each year an APHA stallion is used to breed APHA, AQHA or Jockey Club registered mares. Additionally, a report must be filed for a Quarter Horse or Thoroughbred stallion anytime a Paint mare is bred to that stallion.

Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Show Returns to Tampa, Dec. 28-31

The Florida Gold Coast event last year welcomed nearly 6,100 AQHA entries from coast to coast, as well as additional National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) and non-AQHA entries for a grand total of 7,563 entries. That number is up from 4,056 total entries in 2014 – noting that remarkable increase of more than 3,500 entries.

Julie Cole Wins All-Around Amateur; Thomas and Mimsi Coon Win Leading Owner Award at AQHA World

Thomas and Mimsi Roe Coon of Pilot Point, Texas, were named the 2016 Oklahoma City Convention &Visitors Bureau Leading Owner. The Coons’ American Quarter Horses earned a total of 117 points by competing in 17 classes. Their top honors include the world championship titles in weanling fillies and amateur 3-year-old geldings, and the reserve championship titles in amateur weanling stallions, amateur 2-year-old mares and amateur weanling fillies.
