If you have a foal sired by one of the stallions listed below that is one year old in 2017, you are eligible to do a paid nomination for the Two-Year-Old Incentive class for the 2018 World Championship Appaloosa Show.

“We have some very exciting things in store for the Color Choice Futurity, and we’re glad to be a part of the ABRA World Show,” said Jennifer Sheriff. “One of our goals is to encourage Open and Non- Pro participation and reward the color horse breeds. The ABRA World show is followed the next day by The World Wide Paint Horse Congress and then NSBA World Show. With all of these opportunities at one location, it makes a very user friendly environment with a chance to take home lots of cash and prizes to owners, exhibitors, and trainers. ”

Color horses competing in NSBA World Championship color classes at the 2018 World Championship Show will have to qualify by showing to five judges before April 30th to avoid paying a qualification fee.

AQHA is automatically extending all AQHA memberships for an additional 90 days for areas affected by the wildfires in California. Members will receive a new renewal notice closer to their adjusted expiration date. Members will also receive a new AQHA membership card in the mail within the next few weeks that will reflect their adjusted expiration.

Each beginning level participant receives one free class entry into an AQHA Rookie amateur or Rookie youth class that corresponds with the clinic they participated in. Beginning classes are offered in each of these classes with a belt buckle to the winner of each class. Beginning class entry fees are $25.00 per class plus cattle fees if applicable.

The NSBA Riders’ Cup will be held March 6 and 7, 2018 at the Arizona Sun Circuit. With an estimated purse of over $50,000, you will not want to miss this event. Trainers are the key to entering and participation.
