Continue reading …The Georgia Bulldogs swept the hunt seat awards with Addyson Cord receiving the NCEA Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Year and Maddy Darst claiming the NCEA Equitation over Fences Rider of the Year award. For the Western discipline, SMU’s Holly Lansidel was named the NCEA Reining Rider of the Year. Laska Anderson of Texas Christian University was tagged as the NCEA Horsemanship Rider of the Year.

Continue reading …With the Redbud Spectacular coming up, the Oklahoma State Fair Park is taking this very seriously. In coordination with the State of Oklahoma Veterinary officials, they have enhanced their standard bio-security procedures that takes place between all equine events at State Fair Park. In an abundance of caution, they are disinfecting not only all stalls and common areas through the entire facility, they are sanitizing brooms, tractors, drags and any tool or piece of equipment used at the facility.

The show is scheduled for May 25-28, 2018 in Tunica, Mississippi. The judges will be Brad Jewett, Richard Spinks, Jerry Erickson, and John Boxell. The show has one of the lowest all-inclusive fees in the area at only $250 per horse! Your stall, AQHA entry fees, and office and drug fees are included!
Continue reading …The first half of the show focuses on youth classes and will kick off with the Annual Appaloosa Youth Association (AYA) 2017 Year-End Award Banquet on Sunday, June 24th, recognizing the accomplishments of members. Over the next week, youth from around the world will compete for World Championship titles in a variety of exciting events. Fun activities are scheduled throughout the week – both Appaloosa specific and joint events with youth from the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) including a Wheelbarrow Race Fundraiser, Dennard’s Western Wear Egg Toss, Judging Contest, Costume Class and much more!
