The Appaloosa Horse Club Board of Directors met on Wednesday to discuss a variety of issues related to ongoing operations and the effect COVID-19 is having on the National Show and regional shows. The Board has continued the meeting to next Wednesday, May 20. By that time, the Governor of Texas will have made updated decisions on entering the next phase of re-opening in the State which will allow us to make a final decision concerning the National Show. At that time, we’ll issue an immediate press release to members who are anxiously awaiting this decision. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this important decision weighing all factors and information available.

Hired in 1963 as a part-time “pedigree painter” for the fledgling association, Wanda became a full-time employee in 1969. From registrations to rulebook revisions to correspondence with members, Wanda did just about every task APHA had to offer.

Continue reading …The World Equestrian Center – Ohio facility will reopen in April 1, 2021 with an expanded prize list for a spectacular spring and summer circuit. Until that time, we will be busy with a spate of improvements to the facility designed to increase air circulation, reduce barn aisle traffic and allow for social distancing.

He will be honored at the convention, along with the Hall of Fame Class of 2020, whose induction was postponed due to the cancellation of the 2020 AQHA Convention.
