Two horse and rider pairs that are very familiar with the winner’s circle once again found themselves at the top of the class during evening festivities at the 2013 AQHA World Show.

Just a few nights ago, Dobbs and “Eddie” won the Classic Amateur Western Riding.

Last week, Schexnayder showed “Carter” to a fourth place finish in the Masters Amateur Junior Hunter Under Saddle. The World Show marks Carter’s debut in the show pen.

“She came out exactly how I ordered her, which was bay with four white socks and just enough white on her face. That’s why she got called All I Ever Wanted. I’ve loved her since day one.”

“I thought my cut was really good, but he was dead on in the finals. It kind of freaked me out a little bit. I was waiting to fix something!

Today marked an exciting milestone for Ruby because this was her first trip to the APHA World Show in fifteen years.

Laura Spell was in the irons for the first class of the morning at the 2013 APHA World Show for her sister, Tracy Stenroos. Spell piloted LX Just Call Me Fancy, aka “Junior,” to a win in the Breeder’s Gold/Silver 3-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle Futurity.
