EquineChronicle.com reader and horse trainer, Joe O’Gorman, sent us this photo of a covered round pen in Whitesboro, TX that fell victim to the severe winter weather that rolled into the area last night. Although freezing rain, sleet, snow, and inches of ice are typical conditions for some parts of the country, many facilities and roadways in the central/southern US are not built to withstand this kind of winter weather.

If you have an EC Snow photo that you’d like to share, send it to b.bevis@equinechronicle.com and be safe out there!
