If you’d like a chance to take home a piece of this pie, remember, foals must be nominated every year. The $300 nomination fee for yearlings and 2-year-olds is due by June 1st. Nominations can still be paid after this date, but the fee increases. Weanling foals may be nominated within 60 days of foaling for $200. Then, the amount increases to $300 by June 1st.

The first entry deadline for both the BHF and National Show is July 15th. The stall reservation deadline is August 11th.

There are also big changes coming down the pipeline for the National Halter Championship. Classes will not only be offered for weanlings, yearlings, and two-year-olds, Grand Champion Mare, Stallion, and Gelding will be chosen in both Open and Amateur divisions. Each Grand Champion will receive an additional $5,000 and a custom belt buckle!
