Foal registration papers are an important and valuable part of ownership. Waiting until the end of the year to register horses can create a delay in processing paperwork. Beat the rush and register foals with the American Quarter Horse Association today.

Registering your foals is one way for you to show how proud you are to be an AQHA member. Having the registration papers to prove your ownership adds value to your horse and your breeding program. Be proud to own American Quarter Horses – and let AQHA help you get there!

The registration process is easy. The first step is to fill out a registration application. The biggest mistake owners make when registering their horse is leaving out information.

AQHA Customer Service is available via phone and email to conduct any necessary research for you. If you are not the breeder of the foal you are trying to register, AQHA can assist in getting the appropriate names and addresses of the sire and dam owners for you. If you are missing a signature or other pertinent information, submit your application anyway, and AQHA will attempt to contact the appropriate people for you to acquire the necessary information. AQHA locks in registration fees from the time the application is received, so no matter what is missing, your fees will not increase while AQHA processes your work or waits for answers to correspondence.

Contact an experienced AQHA customer service representative by calling 806-376-4811, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CDT, or mail your paperwork to:
