BCQHA’s March Mania Show Debuts in New Location Tomorrow

The Big Country Quarter Horse Association’s March Mania will debut at a new location tomorrow in Hamilton, Texas. For this three-day event in the heart of horse country, AQHA competitors will enjoy showing to expert officials such as Gayle Lampinen, Curtis Reynolds, Sandy Jirkovsky, Andrea Simons, Casey Devitt, and April Devitt.

The show is scheduled to take place February 28- March 2nd at the beautiful Circle T Arena facility, which includes 286 stalls, multiple warm up pens, indoor and outdoor arenas, 1,200 bleacher capacity, and amenities galore. For the Exhibitors’ Party on Friday night at 6:30, showgoers will be treated to a buffet meal and cash bar at the onsite Crossfire Steakhouse and Cantina.

If you need to grab a bite in between classes or enjoy a relaxing meal after the show, the Cantina offers delicacies such as Prime Rib, Jalapeño Shooters, Rocky Mountain Oysters, Pepper Crusted Filet with garlic butter and a side of Green Chili Cheese Grits. Enjoy your meal or adult beverage in the new screened in patio that overlooks the Saltwater Pool.

Competitors will also have the opportunity to stay and play in the same location by booking a room or RV spot at the Inn at Circle T.

With well over 190 stalls reserved at the show in Abilene in 2013, there’s no telling what the turnout might be for this event at their new location. A $350 flat fee per horse will allow competitors to show to six judges, including entry fees, office fees, and drug fees. *excluding shavings and stalls.
