AQHA Executive Committee Approves New Judges

The American Quarter Horse Association Executive Committee recently approved new judges that will be held to the highest standards when judging American Quarter Horses at AQHA-approved events.

The following judge applicants were approved by the AQHA Judges Committee to take the 2021 judges qualifying exam. Based on their test scores and additional criteria set by the Judges Committee, a list of prospective new judges was reviewed and approved by the AQHA Executive Committee, making these individuals eligible to judge AQHA sanctioned shows effective immediately.

All-Around

  • Tammy Braham of Grove City, Pennsylvania
  • Jodi Finkenbinder of Gainesville, Texas
  • Lindsay Soderberg-Geiger of Red Deer County, Alberta

Progressive All-Around

  • Casey Orr of Calico Rock, Arkansas

International All-Around

  • Jocelyn d’Entremont of Canada
  • Alexandra Jagfeld of Germany

Level 1

  • Leona Ransdell of Lexington, South Carolina

Specialized Versatility Ranch Horse

  • Eric Hubbard of Fresno, California
  • Bobbie Jo Stanton of Shawnee, Oklahoma

Specialized Ranch Riding

  • Allison Chapman of Templeton, California
  • Richard “Ollie” Griffith of Dublin, Ohio

To be recognized as an AQHA-approved specialized over fences judge, applicants must be recognized as a Large R judge with the United States Equestrian Federation, as well as being approved by the AQHA Judges Committee. The following judges were approved:

Specialized Over Fences

  • Diane Carney of West Palm Beach, Florida
  • Patricia Jellerson of Edmond, Oklahoma
