Even though the deadline to submit AQHA rule-change proposals for the 2021 AQHA Convention was December 31, 2020, your input is encouraged and taken into consideration when decisions are being made. After all, it is AQHA members who lead the charge toward changes that make the Association – and the equine industry – better.

The 2021 AQHA Convention is slated for March 18-22 at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, and will be held according to local, state and federal mandates. All members are invited to attend the in-person convention and can register online. This year’s convention will be hosted as an in-person business format, and AQHA will not offer virtual options during convention.

Be sure to review the agendas for the AQHA Standing Committees and watch this quick video that explains how AQHA member-submitted ideas can turn into rule changes.

About the AQHA Convention

Each spring, AQHA holds an annual convention. The 2021 AQHA Convention will be hosted in an in-person business format to allow attendees to focus on business initiatives, including committee and council meetings; reviewing member-submitted rule-change proposals; interviewing, nominating and electing new AQHA directors; and electing the AQHA Executive Committee. AQHA’s top priority is to safely host an in-person convention for AQHA members and staff. The 2021 AQHA Convention Health Protocols will be published once finalized at www.aqha.com/convention.
