#APHAWorld2014, The Ladies of Masters Amateur Trail
World Champion Melissa Haberkorn and VR Knockyour Socksoff

Melissa Haberkorn found herself in the winner’s circle once again at the 2014 APHA World Championship Show; this time, she was named the World Champion in Masters Amateur Trail. Just the other day, we had the chance to speak with Haberkorn about her 15-year-old Paint Horse gelding named”Socks” when she was crowned the World Champion in Masters Amateur Showmanship. In their Showmanship class, the dynamic duo received four firsts and one second. Today in Trail, she did one better, receiving five firsts and becoming the unanimous choice of the judges.
Earlier in the show, Haberkorn and Socks received a Reserve World Champion title in Masters Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation. The pair also placed seventh in Masters Amateur Senior Hunter Under Saddle.
