The paperwork has been submitted and the results have been checked twice—and that means APHA is pleased to announce the association’s Top 20 shows of 2013.

Leading the pack once again in 2013 was the Western Regional Zone 2 Zone-O-Rama, which took place May 23–25 in South Jordan, Utah. A perennial favorite among exhibitors, the show drew 1,147 entries per judge to clinch the No. 1 spot. The Zone 2 show has ranked first by total entries in five out of seven years.

Rising to No. 2 from its fourth-place finish a year ago was the Zone 12 European Paint Horse Championships, which took place September 2–8 in Kreuth, Germany, and drew 947 entries. The championship is consistently ranked as the largest APHA-approved show outside of the United States, and it was the only foreign show to make the 2013 rankings.
