American Royal Hunter/Jumper Horse Show registration deadline approaching

Compete among top equine athletes April 13-16 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 22, 2023) – The American Royal Association invites equine athletes to compete in its upcoming Hunter/Jumper Horse Show, April 13-16, at the American Royal Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The USEF-affiliated show will award over $75,000 in prize money across multiple hunter and jumper divisions, featuring a $15,000 1.3m Mini Prix and the $5,000 McCasland Family Hunter Derby. The 2023 Joe Mackey Memorial Scholarship will also be awarded to the top preforming junior exhibitor.

Judges for the show include Jeremy Green, Wellington, Florida (Hunter/Equitation); Steve Rivets, Wellington, Florida (Hunter/Equitation); Paul Sullivan, Jenks, Oklahoma (Jumpers/Equitation); and Dennis Mike Moran, Mounds, Oklahoma (Jumpers and Hunter/Equitation).

“The Hunter/Jumper Show is a tradition for us at the American Royal, and we are excited to bring it to our spring lineup of events,” said Jackie McClaskey, president and CEO of the American Royal Association. “We have divisions available for equine athletes of any age or skill level, happening at the American Royal Complex during the four-day event in April.
