Columbia, Mo. – Over 100 exhibitors gathered at the National Equestrian Center located in Lake St. Louis on September 23-24 for the sixth Fall Festival All-Breed Horse Show – hosted by the Missouri Quarter Horse Association (MQHA) Charities. This two-day show was previously held as an all-youth show. This is the first-year adult classes were offered.

Registrations for the show totaled over 770 individual class entries and exhibitors came from Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas.

MQHA Charities committee members volunteer their time to run the show – from working the entry office to running the gates and handing out ribbons and awards, there are no paid show staff. Jamieson Gross of Concordia, Kansas volunteered his time to judge the show. The show received sponsorship donations from over 30 businesses, organizations, and individuals. All entry proceeds from the show directly benefit the MQHA Charities scholarship fund, which provides scholarships each year to deserving youth who participate in equine activities.

The show featured two $500 scholarship presentations. One sponsored by MFA Incorporated and the other in Memory of Myra K. Shipp. Emersyn Kilburn of Dardenne Praire, MO was the recipient of the MFA scholarship and Jada Casto of Millstadt, IL was the recipient of the scholarship in Memory of Myra K. Shipp. Additionally, the MQHA Charities Committee presented a Sportsmanship Award in Memory of Steve Mitchell. Hunter Skouby of Hartsburg, Missouri was the recipient of this special award.
